O the deep, deep love of Jesus, vast, unmeasured, boundless, free!
Rolling as a mighty ocean in its fullness over me!
Underneath me, all around me, is the current of Thy love
Leading onward, leading homeward to Thy glorious rest above!
O the deep, deep love of Jesus, spread His praise from shore to shore!
How He loveth, ever loveth, changeth never, nevermore!
How He watches o’er His loved ones, died to call them all His own;
How for them He intercedeth, watcheth o’er them from the throne!
O the deep, deep love of Jesus, love of every love the best!
’Tis an ocean full of blessing, ’tis a haven giving rest!
O the deep, deep love of Jesus, ’tis a heaven of heavens to me;
And it lifts me up to glory, for it lifts me up to Thee!
Words: S. Trevor Francis, 1875.
Music: Ebenezer, Thomas J. Williams, in Llaw lyfr Moliant, 1890

My Jesus, I Love Thee
My Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine;
For Thee all the follies of sin I resign.
My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou;
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.
I love Thee because Thou has first loved me,
And purchased my pardon on Calvary’s tree.
I love Thee for wearing the thorns on Thy brow;
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.
I’ll love Thee in life, I will love Thee in death,
And praise Thee as long as Thou lendest me breath;
And say when the death dew lies cold on my brow,
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.
In mansions of glory and endless delight,
I’ll ever adore Thee in heaven so bright;
I’ll sing with the glittering crown on my brow;
If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.
Words: William R. Featherston, 1864;
Music: Gordon, Adoniram J. Gordon, 1876

The Dirty Worm
Since no one really seems to care about here, i'll simply put up whatever i want. and this falls into the smile category anyway.
This by the way was presented in person in front of all of impact, in the chapel mind you by Benj (on staff) and Matt Depreist (on EB staff).
(the intro by benj)
In a missions trip there’s a lot of things that can stir within our soul, there’s a lot things that we can come back with. And one of the more emotional ways we thought we could share that is through song. So Matt and I wrote a song about our/my experiences and what we came back with and how that changes things. So, this is our little tune…
(the song)
When Benj came back from the Guatemala dump
He had something inside
His recovery was proceeding he was almost o’er the hump,
But that was just the start of the ride
The Doc’s diagnosis was a deadly parasite,
water-borne now feasting on a man
The look in the doctor’s eye said it all that night,
you’ll be spending 2 weeks on the can
Cryptooooooosporidium
Resident of my gut
Cryptooooooosporidium
Please come out of my butt
The following days were characerized by intense intestinal strife
as the pain it did increase
A once nominal Benj saw revival in his life
as he prayed for it to cease
Time marched on with the Dirty Worm inside
as Benj felt constant pain
But suddenly 1 day he felt a movement in his bowel
and that dirty worm sprayed out like rain
Cryptooooooosporidium
Resident of my gut
Cryptooooooosporidium
Please come out of my butt
(bridge)
Pooping and moaning
farting and groaning
as bananas came out liquefied
Pooping and moaning
farting and groaning
as bananas came out liquefied
as bananas came out liquefied
as bananas came out liquefied
(Everyone!)

monkey's paw
I held the monkey's paw
and put my wishes into play
To know the will of God,
or show a motive for delay
I'm holding on to find myself
Just one more wish
I found a pot of gold
or something shining anyway
And caught in my reflection
a conviction held at bay
I crafted a cross to adorn my neck
and finally earned my due respect
And then a jewel encrusted crown
To complement my priestly gown
Just big enough to weigh me down
And bring this temple to the ground
From inside out without a sound
I found a pot of gold today
I held the monkey's paw today
and put my wishes into play
Thanked heaven for the trophies
but I still had hell to pay
So I brought my spoils to the altar's edge
Heard You say obey instead
For all of my labors and best laid plans
I'd only earned a reprimand
Forevermore to understand
that dreams come true can kill a man
If never graced by sovereign hands
I held the monkey's paw

Una Notte A Napoli :
Una notte a Napoli
Con la luna ed il mare
Ho incontrato un angelo
Che non poteva più volar
Una notte a Napoli
Delle stelle si scordò
E anche senza ali
In cielo mi portò
Con lui volando lontano dalla terra
Dimenticando le tristezze della sera
In paradiso, oltre le nuvole
Pazza d'amore come le lucciole
Quanto tempo può durare?
Quante notti da sognare?
Quante ore, quanti giorni
E carezze infinite
Quando ami da morire
Chiudi gli occhi e non pensare
Il tempo passa, l'amore scompare
E la danza finirà!
Una notte a Napoli
Con la luna ed il mare
Ho incontrato un angelo
Che non poteva più volar
Una notte a Napoli
Delle stelle si scordò
E anche senza ali
In cielo mi portò
Tristemente tutto deve finire
Ma quando il cuore mi ha spezzato
Ed in cielo mi ha abbandonato
Adesso sulla terra son tornata
Mai più di amare mi sono rassegnata
Ma guardo su!
Quanto tempo può durare?
Quante notti da sognare?
Quante ore, quanti giorni
E carezze infinite?
Quando ami da morire
Chiudi gli occhi e non pensare
Il tempo passa, l'amore scompare
E la danza finirà!
Una notte a Napoli
